Q.B.L.A

topic posted Sat, September 24, 2005 - 11:00 PM by  Anistara
hey people-- i've had a few friends who are interested in qablah basics and thought i would start a new tribe, but i'm gonna trial here since its on already on and its pretty darn slow anywho-you.

please feel free to jump in and balance out the acts. i'm showing the approach i used that has been uselful as well as illuminating/magical. the system is primal/ancient and is a valuable lifetool. the hard part isnt hard, its minor daily applications tuned with intent and will. my objective is to help others achieve (aka "the hand up") balance while gaining more insight on my own. this is a system of equilibrium so it favors all involved in gaining the same element of balance.

i think jcldragon is pretty well versed in this as i imagine a few others are. do tell!

if you are familiar with the tarot, it will help you along quicker. i'm not quick with it, but i enjoy stregthening this system as a means of meditation and discipline. if you are interested in the endeavor with me, my suggestion for beginning is to envision the tree of life in front of your face. note the spheres and where they are balanced or placed and hold that vision. then we'll start!

many pieces to you! *)

it went well tonight. there were 4 of us, all women, all pretty powerful i'd say, familiar with the waters. we had tea and cookies. definately looking forward to the next gathering!

i went over the basics about the tree and talked about its fruits. we discussed the icosohedron and the quadruple vesica pisces connecting the 4 worlds to give it that multi-dimensional feel. then i gave out blank templates of the tree and we went over the sum of each sphere, their name, their color attribute, and their intelligence. it was simple, only about an hour and half. it was fun coloring too!

my dear sweet sister, what i was telling her brought her to tears. the room was vibrating and the air was so clear... the fruit of the tree is divine. the nectar is so sweet as the dew on her cheek. my dear sweet friend, i love you! i've had this experience when i was learning the tree of "good and evil". this is why i'm bringing it to those who i feel will gain certain tools, especially at this time when things can be turbulent. i am so glad it turned out the way it did tonight. it was heartfelt, genuine, and shiny.

making blank templates is a good way to start, you can test yourself easily that way. the tree is layered so the most essential part is learning the above mentioned attributes. sphere 1 thru 10, starting at the crown. once that is stored to memory then you can progress into the next detail. there is a lot ot learn, but its fun, especially when it starts to come to life. that doesnt take long, remembering that QBL means "to receive", balance is the key.

        happy trails~

I use the five platonic solids and Metatron's cube as meditation "tools", all drawn within the Fruit of Life. I usually hang one drawing on my altar and just meditate on it. First eyes open, then eyes closed. Very soothing.
Lately I've also been using the Antahkarana for open eye meditaion.
I's like to draw the Tree of Life next.
Do you know of any good soures (books, internet) which you'd recommend to look into?

Israel Regardie is good for reference. I was getting through his Tree of Life before I made the biggest mistake you can with magickal reference books.

I LENT IT OUT AND NEVER SAW IT AGAIN!!!

It only happens with your favourite reference books. Don't matter who you lend em to. You never see them again. I guess its easier than setting fire to em.

I did a similar open stareout with a modified Eve's Grid with added nobbly bits:

last nights meet was good fun! i can see this is a powerful group of women to work with.

we went over the basics again as storing the primary's to memory are essential, ie: setting up the filing cabinets to the mind. i added the male (right/positive pillar) and female (left/negative pillar) principals and we numbered the paths 11-32. Next week we will go over the spheres again, then start naming the paths by way of their tarot attribution, oh, and for our vocalist, we'll add the musical keys-- i'm utilizing the little book of coincidences for these attributes.

              Notes:

Until careful study of the attributes are stored to memory by persistant application, the numerical system with correspondences is partly understood as being merely memorized. As a student, you will be amazed to find fresh light breaking on every turn through process via experience and consciousness.

The Tree only bears Fruit, first rooted in the Mind.

              All the gods were letters
              All the letters ideas
              All the ideas numbers
              All the numbers perfect signs

The names of gods are important-- purely spiritual emmanations give rise to beings which we call "gods". They are the forces of nature. Their names are the laws eternal and omnipotent for the cycle of time where they are manifested or projected. The names of the gods are understood by way of magical doctrine. This becomes apparent when working the paths of the tree.

              Garden of Poms-- :)
